    Mosaic workshop on Jun 14th

This was my third time to join the workshop held at The Merevale Corner Community Centre near by my flat. The most important thing is......I've finished my first piece of Mosaic work!!! Even though it is not perfect, I am soooooo happy with it ^-^
    * ET's First Mosaic Artwork

It did bring me a lot of fun during the processes of doing it yourself (DIY), especially while doing something you are really keen on to. Anyway, Yukari and i were very excited at starting our Mosaic artwork , so we went to visit craft shops and warehouse right away after the workshop. However, as beginners, we actually had no idea about where to get the Mosaic equipments. So we only got some beautiful tiles home with us.

Afterwards, I got some useful information at my second Mosaic class from our instructor. We visited the one they mentioned about all the time--- Bunnings Warehouse ( at Tower Junction in Christchurch) , which has plenty of choices and of course cheaper price for us. Well, we both got a bargain package with a cutter breaker, a sponge, a spreader and a squeegee that day. It's quite a reasonable price and the tools are really useful. Since then, i could do my work at home and whenever I'd like to!Ya!!!
    *Tile Tool Kit

Therefore, i finished the cutting and sticking the tiles on the cardboard before today's workshop. Before the final result, actually i have tried several ways of combination with different colours of tiles. It's tiring, full of fun though. As for today's work, I was taught how to grout the base and make the grout fill into all the gaps between tiles. After all the work, it brought me such a huge achievement. Can't wait to start the next piece!

    Mosaic is so fun ^-^

Mosaic workshops

「Hi! How have you been up to?」
    「You know...nothing special. 」
       ......

「Are you working at Colombo Souvenirs?」

    就稱他Champion Shop之super sales man
